The mix contains both 6% cocoa and 6.5% chocolate drops, creating a soft, chocolatey cake that works beautifully for Swedish fika, birthdays, desserts or whenever you want something freshly baked without starting completely from scratch.

Simply add butter and water, mix and bake.

Each 400g package makes approximately 14 slices, giving you around 28 slices in total.

Rich Swedish Chocolate Cake

Kungsörnen Chokladkaka is designed to create a soft, moist and chocolatey cake with very little preparation.

The mix contains:

• 6.5% chocolate drops
• 6% cocoa

The chocolate drops add little pockets of chocolate throughout the cake while the cocoa provides a rich chocolate flavor in the sponge itself.

The result is an easy but satisfying chocolate cake that can also be dressed up for birthdays and special occasions.

Just Add Butter & Water

For each package you need:

• 1 package Kungsörnen Chokladkaka Mix 400g
• 50g butter or margarine
• 200ml / 2dl water

For both packages together you would need:

• 100g butter or margarine
• 400ml / 4dl water

No additional flour, sugar, eggs or cocoa are required.

How to Bake

For one package:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C / 347°F.
2. Grease and breadcrumb a cake tin of approximately 1.5 litres.
3. Pour the entire package of cake mix into a bowl.
4. Add 200ml water and 50g melted or liquid butter or margarine.
5. Whisk for approximately 1 minute until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.
7. Bake in the lower part of the oven for approximately 45 minutes.
8. Check with a cake tester before removing from the oven.

Allow the cake to rest briefly in the tin before turning it out.
